 ✔️ Expats Valencia

Trendiest neighborhoods🏡

El Carmen

This is one of the coolest parts of Valencia, it looks medieval but the vibe is far from that. It has an underground feeling and is full of eccentric shops and bars.

Not only is it one of the most popular hangout spots for the LGBTQ+ community in the city but it’s also a great place for some tapas in the bohemian Plaza Negrita or for dancing the night away at Radio City.

Ruzafa

If you’re looking for something to do, this neighborhood will always have an activity for you! It’s a place that you can visit at any time of day.

For lunch you can have a quick meal at a cafe. At night, the city is buzzing. You can have some traditional Spanish food or get yourself some sushi at the Nozomi Sushi Bar. Finish off the night at cozy bars or head to the clubs.

Benimaclet

This multicultural neighborhood has become a hotspot for expat university students. It’s vibrant but still manages to have the energy of a small town.

There’s always a hidden gem to be found whether it be a music bar or a unique cafe like El Chico Ostra. It’s also the perfect place to get away from the tourists while still having plenty of public transport connections to the beach and downtown.

What else do you need to know about Valencia?🤔

A walkable city

Valencia is quite compact, meaning that you can make it around the city easily on foot. Plus, the weather makes it ideal to walk around without getting too hot or too cold.

Your commute to the office might even be right by the ocean, not too bad right?

Plus, the walks won’t be boring as you’ll be able to appreciate the colorful facades or the gleaming, modern buildings. Wherever you look, you’ll see striking architecture and stunning scenery.

Sunshine & siestas

Imagine working in an office with a view of the beach, or being able to have a caña at a chiringuito with views of the ocean after work.

Wouldn’t you like to take an afternoon siesta on the white stripes of sand to the sounds of waves crashing? You have plenty of beaches to choose from as there are over seven kilometers of beaches right on the edge of the city.

If you want a quiet natural beach, you can head to Pinedo. It’s even dog-friendly! If you want to eat some seafood on the coast, head to the central Malvarrosa beach. To live like the locals, visit Patacona.

An eclectic nightlife

At night a different side of Valencia comes to life, giving you plenty of options to have an amazing time. The nightlife lasts all year thanks to the warm climate.

Have a delicious dinner and head to the party. Make sure you stay hydrated as the bustle keeps going even after the sun rises. Hit up the Marina Beach Club, a cool spot with excellent views of the beach.

If you want something more relaxed, the Fábrica de Hielo is a chic bar and a more chill space to have some drinks.
